Motor Trend Auto Shows, LLC (MTAS), the nations largest auto show producer was founded in 1984 and has since grown to produce auto shows in 24 markets across the country and in Puerto Rico.

From an up-close look at hundreds of new cars, trucks, SUVs and alternative fuel vehicles to displays of futuristic concept cars, and more, auto shows offer something for everyone.

Hundreds of new cars, trucks, sport/utility vehicles and crossovers were packed the Baltimore Convention Center over Valentines Day weekend, Thursday, Feb 11 through Sunday, Feb 14, for the Auto Show.

Attendees were invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, sit behind the wheels, inspect engines and learn about new fuel-saving automotive technologies. From luxury rides to the latest in fuel efficiency, the Auto Show offers something for everyone!

On display at the Show will be several exciting, all-new or redesigned vehicles including the Acura ZDX, Cadillac SRX, Ford Taurus, GMC Terrain, Honda Insight, Lincoln MKT, Subaru Legacy, Toyota 4Runner and more, as well as a collection of hybrids including the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry, among others.

See the latest customizations and check out the Chevrolet Dale Earnhardt Jr. Camaro, and Chevrolet Camaro Black SEMA concepts. A fan of vintage Camaros, Dale Earnhardt Jr. inspired the Chevrolet Dale Earnhardt Jr. Camaro which includes a V-8 engine modified to run on E85, Brembo brake package and custom paint job with 21-inch five spoke wheels. The Black Concept offers an ominous matte-black custom paint scheme and red-glowing HID headlamp halo rings.

New this year, attendees can check out the Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Showcase where local new car dealers will feature their highest quality pre-owned vehicles. With more car buyers considering pre-owned vehicles for their next purchase, the auto show is the place for buyers to see high-quality certified pre-owned vehicles in one convenient location.

Take the Green Trail and see the latest trends in alternative fuel vehicles. Green directional arrows will help attendees find hybrid models on the show floor, as well as point to new technology to help save money at the fuel pump and promote a cleaner environment. Several alternative fuel vehicles will be featured along the Green Trail including models from Ford, Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, Honda, Lexus, Mercury and Toyota.

Attendees can play the hottest, new video games on one of 17 gaming systems including Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PLAYSTATION3 and Nintendo Wii. On Saturday, at 4 p.m., the auto show will host a Guitar Hero Tournament with the first 32 entrants competing for a Microsoft Xbox 360 console.

Children 12 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult on Family Day, Sunday. There will also be special meet and greet appearances with Marvels comic book super-heroes Spider-Man, between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Iron Man, between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Marvel and all related characters.

The Show is presented by the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows.

Show hours are Thursday, from 12 noon to 10 p.m., Fri and Sat, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sun, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

* The Oriole Bird will make an appearance at the auto show on Sun, Feb 14 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m at the Baltimore Orioles booth.

* Baltimore Orioles retired player and 1983 World Series Champion pitcher Scott McGregor will make an appearance and will be signing free autographs for fans on Sat, Feb 13, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

* Aftermarket Alley - New this year, the auto show is hosting a competition in search of the hottest custom vehicles in the region.
