74th India Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor and patriotism at Fremont Hindu Temple. Organized by Festival of Globe (FOG) and Fremont Hindu Temple, the event was attended by hundreds of Indian Americans.

Mayors from Fremont and Santa Clara, along with Assembly members, council members and several elected officials graced the occasion and conveyed their celebratory messages congratulating achievements by India and Indians here in US.

FOG founder Dr. Romesh Japra, FOG president Rajesh Verma, and FOG parade-chair KP Maheshwari highlighted contributions of Indian community toward American growth and need for Indo-Americans to get more involved in political process at local and national levels.

Consul General of India Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad gave the keynote speech and gave republic day message. FOG media – chair Ritu Maheshwari said that this year there was tremendous response to the Republic Day celebration and thanked all for supporting.
