Members of the Department showcased police vehicles including famous vintage 1958 Chevy, the Fremont Police/Fire mobile command vehicle, traffic motorcycles, SWAT vehicles and many more. If that was not enough fun, they have several public agency partners, including the City of Fremont Transportation Engineering Division and Fire Department, as well as BART Police, the California Highway Patrol, AC Transit and the East Bay Regional Parks Police Mounted Unit.
The fun doesnot stop there! Their Communications Unit is co-hosting a Dunk Tank with Special Olympics Northern California. For a small donation, you can attempt to dunk a police department employee to help us raise funds for the Special Olympic athletes. Their event is designed for community members of all ages and will feature more than 30 exhibits, food, activities, free crime prevention seminars, building tours and giveaways. The first 1,500 attendees will receive a special Fremont Police reusable grocery bag.
